DashFlow User Guide

DashFlow lets you transform raw data into intelligent dashboards powered by artificial intelligence. This guide walks you through the application step by step: from creating your account to generating your first dashboards.

Overview

DashFlow consists of three main spaces:

  • The AI chat: the entry point of the application. Describe your need in plain language and the AI generates a custom dashboard, selects the right KPIs and the right visualizations.
  • My workspace: your organization, your dashboards, your data sources and your usage (users, KPIs, AI requests).
  • Administration: user management, groups, data sources and billing — reserved for administrators.

The application is available in French and English. The language can be selected from the navigation menu. Your choice is remembered for future visits.

Getting started

Create your account

  1. Open the home page and click Get started for free.
  2. Enter your full name, email and a password (minimum 8 characters).
  3. Accept the terms of use and confirm.

Your account is created immediately with a free trial period (no credit card required). You arrive directly on the AI chat.

Try without an account: demo mode

The Watch a demo button on the home page lets you explore the interface with sample data, without signing up. To create a real account, click Get started for free.

Click Sign in from the home page or open /login. Enter your email and password. Your session stays open on the device.

First sign-in with an activation code

If an administrator created your account, you will receive an activation code by email. Open the link in the email, enter the code, then choose your personal password.

The navigation menu

At the top of each page, the navigation bar gives access to:

  • Chat: back to the AI chat to generate a new dashboard.
  • Sign in / Sign out: session management.
  • My organization: members, groups, plan and usage.
  • Administration: advanced management (administrators only).

The AI chat

Generate a dashboard

The AI chat is the heart of DashFlow. To generate a dashboard:

  1. Type your request in plain language (e.g. "Show me last month's sales by region").
  2. The AI analyses your request, identifies relevant KPIs and selects appropriate visualizations.
  3. Your dashboard appears in seconds.

You can refine the result by asking follow-up questions: "Add a comparison with the previous month", "Filter on the Île-de-France region"…

Available visualization types

DashFlow automatically generates the most appropriate visualizations for your data:

  • Bar charts: comparisons by category.
  • Line charts: time series trends.
  • Pie charts: distributions and market shares.
  • Tables: detailed data and aggregations.
  • KPI cards: key indicators with variance.

Share a dashboard

A generated dashboard can be shared as a read-only link. Click Share in the dashboard toolbar. The recipient sees the dashboard without being able to modify your data.

Data sources

Import a CSV file

  1. From My organization > My data sources, go to Import a file.
  2. Choose your CSV file (max. 50 MB).
  3. Enter the indicator code to feed, then the name of the date column and of the value column, exactly as they appear in your file.
  4. Confirm. Your data is immediately available on your dashboards and in the chat.

French Excel exports work as they are. Semicolon separators, decimal commas (1 234,56) and 03/09/2026 dates are all recognised without you having to reformat anything. 2026-09-03 dates work too.

Re-uploading the same file does not double your figures. DashFlow recognises rows it has already imported and keeps only the new ones. You can therefore re-import a file you have extended, and only the rows added since last time will be taken into account.

One unreadable row does not cancel the import. Valid rows are imported, and the report tells you how many rows were rejected, with their line number in your spreadsheet and the reason. If no row could be read at all, the import is reported as failed rather than successful.

Your file is not kept. Only the data it contained is, along with a record of what each import did: when, by whom, how many rows.

One file can feed several indicators at once. If your export carries both the quantity produced and the scrap count, name both indicators and both columns: a single upload is enough, and you have no second file to keep in sync.

Correcting or replacing data you already imported

When you re-upload a file onto an existing source, you choose what it should do with what is already there:

ModeWhat it does
AddOnly adds new rows. Touches nothing that already exists.
CorrectUpdates rows already present, and adds new ones. Nothing is deleted.
ReplaceThe file becomes the reference: whatever it no longer contains is deleted.

An example to make it concrete. You had imported 1, 2 and 3 September, then you fix the 2nd and re-upload a file that stops at the 2nd: in Add mode the 3rd stays and the 2nd is not corrected; in Correct mode the 2nd is corrected and the 3rd stays; in Replace mode the 2nd is corrected and the 3rd disappears.

Replace mode only touches data that came from this source. Values you typed in by hand, and values imported from another file, are never deleted.

Nothing is lost without a trace. Every corrected or deleted value is kept along with its previous value and the import that changed it — so that "why did this figure change?" always has an answer.

Connect a database

  1. Click Database connection.
  2. Select the type (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB…).
  3. Enter the host, port, database name and credentials.
  4. Test the connection, then confirm.

DashFlow syncs periodically with your database to keep data up to date.

Plug in a third-party API

  1. Click API integration.
  2. Enter the API URL, method (GET / POST), and authentication headers.
  3. Set the sync frequency (real-time, hourly, daily).
  4. Confirm. API data automatically feeds your dashboards.

Users and groups

Invite a member

From Administration > Users, click Add an administrator (for an admin) or invite members by email. Each member receives an activation email.

Create a group

Groups let you segment access by business domain (Finance, HR, Logistics, etc.):

  1. From Administration > Groups, click Create a group.
  2. Give the group a name and select the domain.
  3. Add members by email address.
  4. Confirm. Group members only see the dashboards and data assigned to them.

Billing and plans

View your plan

From My organization > Billing, you can view:

  • Your current plan and its associated limits (users, KPIs, data sources, AI requests).
  • Your current usage.

Change plan

Click Choose this plan on the desired plan card. Upgrading takes effect immediately. Downgrading takes effect at the next billing period.

Security and privacy

  • All communications are encrypted (HTTPS).
  • Your data is isolated per organization: no other client can access it.
  • Your data is never used to train third-party AI models.
  • You can request deletion of your data at any time via support.
